I'm all set, but thanks. This discussion comes up every once in awhile and no common sense ever follows it. If people are content to actively create fantasies and interpret behavior so that it lends credence to those fantasies, so be it, no amount of discussion will change it. Like I said, I'm all for gossip, but this kind of gossip perturbs me.
It might surprise you to know that some are. Clearly Pip just proved that point earlier on in this thread and even I know the difference between truth and fiction despite whatever your belief may be.

Perhaps one day when I buy myself a clue and some common sense I can have a conversation that isn't shrouded in some chiffon coated fantasy. He can shack up with whomever his heart desires but you can't deny the facts and fact is? the Buckingham villa is up for sale and has been since 9/11...a day after the Atlantic City concert and a day before I saw them front and center in Camden on 9/12.

.
The whole song is about one person. It's self evident. You think she was writing along, about how "maybe he fell for her again, she watched it happen, every day, day by day...night by night" and "maybe now he could be good for her, and they should be together"
when suddenly
she thinks...hmm, lets see, i was talking about this other guy, in a continuing narrative, but I'll put something about Lindsey going home right here...
Lindsey asked her "who's this line about" so she answered it was about him, but also, if Lindsey had asked "who's this song about" Stevie still woulda said it's about him.

It's not surprising in the least. If his fans can create pornographic fan fiction about him for the lucky schlubs who have access to the Internet and can create gossip about his supposedly rocky marriage, I wouldn't put a single thing past them. But it certainly doesn't shine a good light on them and shows what their priorities in life are.

Perhaps, perhaps. But I suggest getting both sooner than later. The facts, Marissa, are tidbits of information that you seem to be warping to fit your view of their marriage. Again, I fail to see the significance of any of these dates, but if you do, more power to you. We simply disagree and forever shall.

Most of her songs that contain "he" or "she" do, but that doesn't mean anything.

Great. Got any facts to back that statement up?

From the Destiny Rules doc, regarding the ENTIRE song of "Thrown Down":

"Well, actually, this song was written on the last Fleetwood Mac tour, on the Dance tour. And it was really, in its own kind of strange way, written about my relationship with Lindsey and how the barricades of time have always gotten in our way." - Stevie Nicks

Other than that the song is a continuing narrative, which Stevie said a line in was about Linds? Other than, i think if the song was not about Linds, stevie would have said it was about "oh a lot of people"? No, guess not. Man, you're really ignoring evidence here, i tell you what.
however - I think their "thing" if there was one, was way past. I think if Lindsey's marriage is breaking up, it wouldn't be about Stevie.
I also don't necessarily think their marriage is breaking up. necessarily. i do think it's possible though.

Thanks, I didn't remember that.

Nice delete, too, Nancy. Guess snarkiness is catchy.

I realized it was unnecessary, and thought better of it. Isn't that OK?

I have no problem with it being deleted because I already saw it. Better luck next time.
