Exactly. I don't blame Stevie for this. She never claimed she was abused. People make this claim "on her behalf."

It's funny how people will talk about the importance of giving women a voice, but still feel comfortable putting words into their mouths.

I DO give her credit for not making this claim. Everyone else is doing it for her.

HOWEVER, if she did make the claim, she'd look like a freaking IDIOT, after pretending to still be in love with him for the past 43 years.

My take is that he didnít abuse Stevie. She or her people would have said something about it by now if it had happened. She was all too comfortable playing the victim, especially during SA, to not have let it slip by now. If anything, Stevie admitted she got physical with him.

That said, Lindsey all but admits he had issues back in the day. I donít really doubt he got physical with CAH, but that wouldnít have had an impact on the band. He was absolutely no saint, but he got help and made positive changes. Whatís the statute of limitations on something like that?

The biggest reason she didnít want to make another album with him is because she mostly didnít enjoy making albums with him. Rumours wasnít fun for her, Tusk, Mirage, TITN, and SYW werenít fun for herÖ. Why would the next one be fun? And, for as much pride as she had with IYD, its lack of sales legitimately made her question the value of going through the process. (Personally, my response would be for artís sake.)

This is precisely why it's hard to believe she was ever abused by him.

And I don't think she's pretending to still be in love with him. I think she still is. She has a hate-love relationship with him like never seen before.

You and Button seem to have a love/hate thing with Stevie as well. I know you'll say it's a "hate/hate" thing.
But the whole time I've bet on this board, years, it's all you two talk about 🤔
Bitter and scorned.
Awe, please, have a Zima😋
Before it's gone.

Do you know that if you click the QUOTE button, that the quote in your post will appear in the manner in which it's intended?

Please don't try to police other's thoughts here. Button and I are entitled to our opinions, as are you. I'd like for you to post more hateful things about $tevie Nick$. Can you handle that?

And lastly, I prefer bourbon, on the rocks. Not that p*ssy Zima garbage.

Homer has talked many times about his favorite Stevieís album, Bella Donna. I used to talk endlessly about Lindsey. Not anymore because of people like you who have a problem with other peopleís opinions and everything is a personal attack. So, this is the only place where Iím posting right now.

Please, tell me where in my post I trashed sweet Stevie. Donít they have a love-hate relationship? Please, as a Stevie fan, enlighten me.
