THE one and only Les Paul
Can anybody tell me if Peter's guitar is still in the hands of Phil Winfield of Maverick Music (it was offered for 2 million after Gary Moore got 1.2 million for it)?
If not, who is the new owner? I'm asking because of a prize contest with the possibility of winning a fine guitar. Thanks in advance. |

Hi Wouter - hope you're enjoying the holidays! Looks like Maverick Music still has the guitar. Take a look at this page from their website, for Gary Moore's '58 Les Paul:
http://www.maverick-music.com/script...idproduct=1214 The page mentions having this guitar and the Peter Green/Gary Moore Les Paul together now. I don't see "the" guitar listed on the site, though, so maybe that means it's not currently for sale? |

The 59 Les Paul
Dear Wouter,
I just saw your post and immediatly went to the Maverick Music Gibson Page. Either he has taken it off the market or It is sold. I also notice that two Eric Clapton guitars are gone, an Alvin Lee 335 and Gary Moore is now selling a 58 Les Paul. On The discription of the gary Moore 58 it says that now Maverick has the gary Moore 58 and the Peter Green 59 sharing center stage and they are looking for the Moore Gold top to make three. Unless they do not update the page very often I would guess that it is still in the building but not listed on the page as for sale. sherlock vinnie |
