Question Englewood, Colorado show

I'm on crack. LOL!! I'm thinking about scrapping the Houston show to go to Colorado in July to see the Mac at the last show! Has anyone been to this amphitheater?

Who is going to this show?

When do tickets go on sale and when is the presale? Anyone know?

You go girl ~ BUT just let me say that the Houston Amphitheater is so beautiful. I loved Stevie's TISL show there. Much Much better than Dallas.

Don't you wish we were all independently wealthy and could attend all shows.

I am going!! I just found out yesterday that I got the dates off from work. I have a friend out there who is into the Mac.

I heard that May 2 was the onsale date but I am not 100% sure. I will have to ask my friend.

I am hoping that this is not the last tour date, however.

Exclamation Omg!!!!

That's my birthday!!!!!! It's a sign from GOD! LOL!!

You think they will add more dates?! I'd hate to buy a ticket to a show that I think is the last, and then they announce 20 more dates or something.

Maybe you will have good luck getting seats. LOL

I think they might be sly in waiting to announce more dates until all of these dates have gone on sale. I think that is what happened last year.

Christy, I posted an article a while back that Mick had done right before they left for Australia. I believe he spoke about taking the tour into December. I certainly hope they do! I think they'll wait it out and see how these shows are selling before they add on more dates

Is this Englewood show Red Rocks?

If so - you should GO.

Actually - I'd take a Colorado FM show over a Texas show anyday.
Colorado fans are so supportive - and radio there has ALWAYS been behind them. You'll also have spectacular weather - Rocky Mountain High, etc......

I know Stevie once said that Red Rocks was her favorite place to play in the whole country. Even if this show isn't at Red Rocks, I've been to a lot of shows in Colorado - and they are like nowhere else in the country. People aren't jaded there - and they love their music.

Yes, I used to work there. The sound sucks and the curfew is 10:30 pm. It takes an act of congress to get a good seat. This amphitheater is locally considered the ugly stepsister to Red Rocks. I'm not surprised there has been no presale announced as it has a loyal group of season ticket holders. It's located in the Denver Tech Center and a lot of companies buy blocks of seats fo entertainment purposes. There are no covered areas. One third of the amphithteater is lawn seating. It wouldn't surprise me if there is no fan club presale for this venue. Also, the band has a large group of extended friends and family here which is going to complicate the seating situation further.

Thumbs down Ah dang.

Well, that doesn't sound very good. Perhaps, I'm going to Houston, after all. LOL

Thanks for the info, everyone!! If it WAS Red Rocks....I'd be there FOR SURE.

I've never been there but I have friends who have and they say it sucks! As far as going to an FM concert in the Denver area - my experience sucked! They didn't release any good seats, band members have family there, plus security is Ruude! But that was at the Pepsi Center. But I figure the release of good seats is slim at this venue as well.

Englewood show is in Coors Amphitheater - previously Fiddler's Green. I live in CO and am going to the show (hi Pattie!).

Personally I don't think the theater "sucks" - I've seen Stevie there 2x and several other shows. I actually like it better than Red Rocks in many regards as while Red Rocks is nice it's a hassle and the first 20 rows of Red Rocks are general admit so it's hard to get up front, it's far away and lots of climbing and roudiness - that's MY opinion. I've been to Red Rocks and it's definately worth going to if you have not been there but honestly I guess at my age - LOL - I prefer Fiddler's over it as it's more organized and less of a party atmosphere.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents! There is a curfew at Fiddlers but they just start the shows earlier - it's never affected anything I've seen and you can get great seats just DO NOT sit on the grass (general admit) get a reserved seat is my suggestion cause the grass has a fence in front of it and then a walkway in front of that and it's really hard to see. Fiddler's is angled on the sides so all reserved seats are pretty decent. When you are looking at the onsale tix try for the Pit - the first 3 rows of the Pit are actually rows 1, 2 and 3!

So May 2nd is on sale? Is that PRESALE or ticketmaster? I haven't heard when they go on sale so curious!

I'd LOVE to meet up with anyone going!
Lauren
