that's awesome. I skipped last night and don't really feel bad about it.

I am, tho, over the weekend, going to get a diet gameplan together to help shed whatever's left to shed. I am down almost 2 sizes...meaning I can fit in a pant 2 sizes smaller, but if I breathe I may take out an eye.

but hey, I'm getting there. in fact, I'm going to go weigh right now.

Just weighed myself & I'm still stuck at a 5 pound weight loss. I know, I know, the scale isn't the best measurement. But this is getting ridiculous, esp. since I'd really like to lose 10 more. I guess I'll have to cut back a couple of points each day & see if that does the trick.

It's just a small plateu - also add in a few minutes of faster intervals to your workout - or maybe 5 more minutes. That and the points should do the trick.
I'm glad you went to yoga again.

I made those changes a few weeks ago when I first got stuck. So. Frustrating. I know, I'll do an hour of cardio 7 days a week! That should do it!

^^

Have you tried the whole eating more points one or two days - then cutting back? That's what they suggested I do to sort of give my system a "jolt"

^ No, I usually eat the same amount each day. I do the older original points system, not flex. Maybe I should do flex.

I do points.

But my sister and the WW lady said that in order to give your metabolism a bit of a jolt - eat more points one day...or two days - then eat your normal amount of points the next.

I know you're not officially doing WW though, right? You can't eat less points if it's not in your weight range - that will just hurt you in the long run!

No, I eat between 22-25 points per day (they recommend 18 - 25 for my weight.) I don't do the "35 flew points to use each week" thing though.

****ing Tostito brand beer.

I know, I thought about the vacation. Thing is, I've been stuck at this weight for WEEKS, no matter what I've done to make changes to my diet or exercise routine. It's just frustrating, that's all.

^ Thanks! Don't get me wrong, I feel better & more confident & my clothes fit & I'm sronger & more toned. It's just annoying when you decide to lose 15 pounds, then you lose 5 pounds in the first 2 weeks & nothing for the next 6.

Cutting back on eating is a dangerous slope because when you go back to the previous level, your body will react.

Instead, I suggest upping the exercise in a manner of speaking. Try this, do 25 push ups in the morning when you awaken and 25 at night before you go to bed. If you can, do 25 at noon as well. Try that for two weeks and see if you do not see a difference. Note - if you cannot do 25 each time, do as many as you can until you exhaust your chest and arms, then rest and continue to 25. In a few days, you should be up to 25 at one time. If you can do 25 easily, then make it 50.

Also, after doing the push ups each time, do 25 or more squats without weight. Be sure your form is accurate. Accurate form is to stand straight, feet shoulder width apart, and drop your a$$ below your knees with your shoulders never going over your knees. You may have to hold onto a chair for the first few times

Do these five minute sets in addition to whatever workout you are currently on and while doing the 22-25 points.

If you see no results, I am buying you a lite beer!
