I always thought Ooh My Love built to such a crescendo or climax when she changed tense that it seemed like Stevie was acknowledging the moment. Almost like she was saying "alright, yes, it's me, I'm the one!"

I think Stevie was making a real effort to make her songwriting less cryptic with both the Other Side of the Mirror and Street Angel. The meaning of Doing the Best That I Can is certainly much more obvious than most of her other songs.

Remember in CAH's book Carol said Lindsey always called her angel

A Line From Ooh My Love: Oh, but there was a time when he called her "Angel"

Goodbye Angel (Lindsey Outtake 1982) Could be related

I guess this is because of Lindsey leaving FM, Stevie was upset
I always thought OOM was about Rupert Hine.

The song choices would have been awesome for the tour! Of course, as it was, these were some of the best vocals ever from any solo tour. But to have LWTG or OML?

Thanks for posting the new link.

I thought so myself. I thought the song was a very recent write for Stevie during the time of TOSOTM.

Could someone re-post the rehearsals as the blog site is no longer active, sadly.

Another great song she ignores. I can't believe it wasn't a single.
