Gah. I hope he's okay. News coverage over here makes it look absolutely awful over there!

I've been going through a creative dry spell and the poem I just wrote may have broken it. Pray...

I've been following him via The Today Show. I hope he makes it (stays clean)! He seems like such a nice person.

I brought my dog Jack home from the vet today. He seems much happier to be home, but his back legs are still paralyzed. However, I put him in the bath tub to do his water therapy and it seemed like he was trying to stand on one of his back legs! They say some dogs can take 3 months to walk again and some remain paralyzed forever. Either way, my doggy is still alive! And if I have to get him a wheel chair, I will!

Did I miss what happened to him??? I saw where you might have to put him to sleep, but never saw why.

After mine died of cancer, four years ago, I vowed to not have any more dogs. I get WAAAAAY too attached to them(honestly, for me, I might have well lost my child), and spent a LOT of money(15K) on his cancer.

My best friend and I have grown apart since we started college, but this week we sort of re-bonded over an evening of music and movies. I'm so excited to think we might get back some of the closeness we used to have, but because our communication is through email I don't know if she feels the same way. We're emailing more often (i.e. we're emailing at all) but I feel like I'm pushing her. Aaaarggh. Pray for patience.

JTIS.

He has a herniated disc. And I have vowed to never get another pet. I've had the worst of luck with them. They are such a big investment, financially, emotionally, and time consuming, and then they die.
