Go Insane on a soap opera
First off yes I watch Soap Operas, but only the best ones. I was just watching Young and the Restless and Amber is being held captive and as she's trying to get out of the closet Go Insane is playing in the background. But its a female singing it and it sounds a little on the punk side a la the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs but slightly more harder.

Hee-hee, you beat me to it! I actually had to rewind cuz I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Yeah, I'd love to know whose version that was.
BTW, I normally find all that background music they've been doing lately really annoying! Especially when the same song carries over from scene-to-scene. At Crimson Lights, that's one thing, but I get confused when I'm not actually watching the TV, just listening - I hear the same song, but suddenly they've cut from the coffee house to Kay's mansion and I'm like, wtf? And is Kevin the slowest healer on earth or what? I was so relieved when the dried blood and bandages were finally off his face. |

I don't watch soap operas, but it was most likely the version done by
White Widow from 2005.

That's it! Thank you! Here's a clip:
http://www.whitewidowmusic.com/menu_.../go_insane.mp3 It's not the first time their music's been on Y&R...there's a youtube clip of another song on their website. They describe their sound as PJ Harvey - U2 - Stevie Nicks. Here's a clip of a song called "Lindsey." http://www.whitewidowmusic.com/menu_...ps/Lindsey.mp3 |

Wow, that GI-clip sounds promising. Too bad it stops when the noise hits in.
Thanks, livia. Inspired to search further.... Ah, their sloppy liveversion is on their site too. I like it even though it's a crappy recording and three people witnessing the concert. http://www.whitewidowmusic.com/menu_.../go_insane.mp3 And I still dont know if she goes insane or that she's having it.
