So, let me translate for the "common folk". What you mean is:

verse
verse
chorus
bridge
solo
verse
chorus
fade on 2nd chorus

How can you have Say You Will without 'Running Through The Garden' on it? Thats my favourite from SYW. And why did you put Silver Girl on there? Swap Murrow with WTWCT and swap Silver Girl with RTTG and you've got a hit album. lol.

As much as I like SYW the way it is, and as much as I'm a HUGE ITM fan, it might be a fun game to play. The idea came to me from watching a recent exchange on a link in the Christine Forum...

Here's a shot:

that's pretty good! Starts and finishes with Ms McVie - quite right.

No, no, no, no...and...no. RTTG is tripe, it's bad, it sucks, it's the 2nd worst song Fleetwood Mac has ever recorded ("The Second Time" ranks #1 in that). Not even a semi-decent Lindsey Buckingham guitar solo can save it.

Why do you feel it's tripe, Steve?
Lyrically, it's a compelling allegory (owing its origins to Nathaniel Hawthorne, of course) for someone immersed in a toxic lifestyle. Vocally, I think it's one of Stevie's best on the album.

Also... what makes it worse than "The Derelict" or, say, Jeremy's 27th Elmore James impression?

How CAN you say that!? I am in shock! I LOVE, i ADORE both RTTG and The Second Time. You have obviously hit your head on something. Yes, Stevie's vocals are not her best on RTTG but that doesn't make it anyless of a FAN-****IN-TASTIC song! The Second Time was a great ending to Behind the Mask which is one of my personal fav's. I don't understand how anyone can not like RTTG!? I am shocked...

p.s. Lindsey's guitar solo ROCKS!

Dude, Chili's allowed to not like RTTG. Chill.

And "Murrow" is integral to SYW. It's one of my favorite Lindsey songs, ever. Far superior to "What's The World Coming To."

I really don't think you are in any position to say that - we're both on a Fleetwood Mac board unless you've forgotton. You've just slagged off your own mucis taste.

In case you haven't noticed, FM covers a wide range of musical styles & tastes.
