However, no one loves a peacemonger more than a liberal and Nixon spent a lot of time going around establishing diplomatic relations with other governments, ending the draft and the Viet Nam war. That's a pretty liberal policy for any Republican. He was also a true conservative in the sense that he wanted to give more power back to state and local governments. he was a million times brighter than that tree stump currently occupying the White House.
