The Ramen Girl.

I had this movie in my cart before Brittany Murphy passed away.
I don't even remember what led me to this movie. And when it
arrived today, I really didn't know what to expect.

I liked the movie but it was hard to distance myself from what
happened to her. I kept having to go backwards on the DVD
because of thinking about her real life. She was such a beautiful
young woman, and so young to die. I just wanted to pull her out
of that movie and save her somehow. Hopefully, now she is with
the Lord.

^^If you like her, please see Trixie! Her best movie and best performance.

The Legend Of Boggy Creek (1972).
Well after about 37 years I got to see what scared me so much
when I was a child. Now you have to consider my age, and where
I lived when I saw this movie. It was about as cheesy as I expected.
And the video transfer was horrible. It look like it was copied from
a bad VHS tape. Ole' Sasquatch might still be out there for all I know.
Rent it if you dare.

Incendiary. Pretty depressing movie.

Goodbye Solo. I liked the characters in this movie. Even though
Red West is in his 70's, he still looks mean enough to kick your a$$. I'd
say more, but wouldn't want to ruin the ending for anyone looking to rent
this.

The Glass Menagerie - I really loved this Tennesse Williams theater adaptation. The acting was good too. Katherine Hepburn plays a wonderful irritating mother.

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington - Nothing compares to Jimmy Stewart's diatrabe in front of the depression era US Senate. Fabulous story and even more fabulous story about what went on around the world when that movie was originally released. I've added what movies I haven't seen directed by Frank Capra to my queue. He's getting up there towards Hitchcock on my favorite directors list.

Adam.
An interesting movie about someone who
suffers from Asperger's syndrome. Not your
typical Hollywood romance movie.

A Perfect Getaway.
More like a less-than-perfect way to lose two
hours of your life. I had to fast foward though
the last half of the movie.

Uptown Girls.
I've been on the Brittany Murphy kick since the
tragic news of her death. Though I liked "The
Ramen Girl", Uptown Girls made me gag. I doubt
that I'm their target audience, but still...

I anxiously await "9", Terminator Salvation
and Ichi.

All the same, baby. All the same.

The classic tale of the blind Samurai who wanders from village to
village searching for the sightless swordsman who long ago taught
her to kill.

I'm actually not familiar with this story. I had read about the movie
and saw the preview. It looks very interesting. Every once in awhile
I have to watch a foreign film.

He went to a drug store - or what back then they might have called a "chemist" - and got something really obnoxious to drink in order to make his voice sound really hoarse.

that movie is amazing (the part where hometree, aka the biggest effing tree i have ever seen if my life, is the saddest part of the movie.) ..I heard that some people hated Michelle Rodriguez in this movie but i didn't find her that bad..granted some of her Horatio Caine one liners were a little lame but still..and Giovanni Ribisi is still one of the weirdest looking people i have ever seen but i still find him kinda cute lol.

the 3D thing hurt my eyes tho but i kept the glasses and poked the 3D things out so now i look like a nerd whenever i put them on..

Taskeshi Miike made an episode of Masters of Horror that got banned from the US because of a torture scene that was in it..i actually found the episode somewhere and the torture scene wasn't really all that bad...i mean..it would really suck if it actually happened to you tho =\
