Break down of the white album
OK I don't know who started it, but someone on the WTTRS thread started breaking down Tango and we all joined in this little trend. So I figured we should do it for all the albums. Starting with the white album. And I'm sure this will eventually migrate to the solo forums and the pre and post rumours forums. But for now it's the white album. you can make up your own category names but make sure there's a Great, awseome whatever type thing first and at the end there has to be a wretched awful kill yourself type thing. There doesn't need to be nothing there but the category should exist.
AMAZING Out of this world- Rhiannon, Blue Letter, Over My Head, Crystal, SYLM, World Turning, Monday Morning, I'm So Afraid GOOD- Landslide, Warm Ways OK- Sugar Daddy. Horrible- None

Outstanding: Rhiannon, Landslide, Crystal
Good: Monday Morning, Blue Letter, Over My Head, World Turning Okay: SYLM (better on the Dance), Warm Ways Below Average: Sugar Daddy I don't know where to stick I'm So Afraid in. It's a brilliant song live, but I don't like the album version. |

"Big Love"--Rhiannon, Landslide, I'm So Afriad (I like the LP version--haunting)
"Don't Stop"--Monday Morning, Blue Letter, Crystal (love the harmonies), Warms Ways(I wish it could have been me who made Christine a woman that night ),, Say You Love Me, World Turning "That's Alright"--Sugar Daddy(I do like the CMcV's laught at the end), Over My Head "Go Your Own Way"--none The Bottom Line: A great start that only hints at things to come. |
