I agree he did resemble Lindsey a little bit. Had to be the wild hair. haha I was noticing that while watching an old video the other night. I could see why Stevie was attracted to him back in the old days.

Confirmed? I didn't even know it was rumored.

I don't think she ever dated Frey either, but she's always talked about what a great friend he is -- or was.

We should do a Stevie's Men Timeline. I don't know if we'd have enough room.
CL Moon tried that years ago with her Stevie Nicks FAQ, but I think she sort of gave up.

There are a lot of conflicting data: e.g., everybody thinks Stevie dated Waddy & wrote "If Anyone Falls" about him (including Waddy), but Glen Parrish told the gal who wrote the book in 1984 that "If Anyone Falls" was about him, & his girlfriend Nicole seemed to agree.

Also, J.D. Souther never himself confirmed that he dated Stevie, & Stevie has only very rarely mentioned him. Plus, she certainly never mentioned having dated Walter Egan -- Walter himself spilled that one in his Q&A. Same with John Stewart -- Stevie never told the press she & Stewart were together on the 1981 tour, but Stewart finally did.

Isn't that around the time Lindsey stopped hanging out with John Stewart? Hmmmm...

Really? I had not heard that piece of dirt before! Shame on you, John! Lindsey worshipped you! Sigh.

Makes it hard to watch them singing together on the Kingston Trio special. Was it the same girl's voice that was like the spinning of the world?

Here's another guy who just had to give it up on poor Stevie. Did anyone ever keep her secrets to themselves?

I hadn't heard this before either. I knew that Stevie had inspired at least one of Stewart's songs (the name escapes me now) but a relationship???? My god.

Poor Lindsey. And Stewart's not the only artist he collaborated with to end up with Stevie. Even Walter Egan did for awhile.

Let's not forget another hero, Dennis Wilson, hopping into Stevie's bed.

Edit: And Carol Ann's, too! Poor Lindsey.

Yeah, but I bet it's the only artist who he idolized and tried to copy that eneded up with Stevie. That would be like, well, Lindsey ending up with MY ex. Wow, that woud SUCK!

Hadn't heard about Denis Wilson, though Lindsey was more taken with Brian Wilson than Dennis. Was this before or after Christine's relationship? Either way, that's one hell of a burn! It might explain the sarcasm directed towards Stevie during the "Tusk" sessions.

It was DURING his relationship with Chris. That guy was a total man-ho.

Well, that TOTALLY explains the sarcasm directed towards Stevie at the "Tusk" sessions. Wow. That's all I can say.
