actually, I don't have much to do at work today (as the rest of this week), I find that frustrating a bit.
You can see deleted posts?

I meant I can see a line of dots and the little "post deleted by user... " comment, where once used to be a post...

Hmmm. I'm just asking because I'm trying to figure out if that is a glitch or if it's supposed to be that way.

Why not just delete the post/thread entirely? I don't understand why it was replaced with just dots, or was that just the choice of the thread starter? So basically I'm asking, can one delete a post/thread that one starts?

Yep, you can delete a post or a thread.

Amber replaced the text of her post with dots and the message is "edited by.." not deleted so I think we are good.

Ah -ok - so then why not just delete the thread rather than deleting the content of the first message but leaving dots? This is what I don't understand

I don't think non mods can delete threads anymore. I've tried a few times, and unless I'm missing something, you can't. Used to be able to, though. Or maybe I am missing something. Can still delete posts, but not if they are thread starters. As far as I can tell.

Anyway, I still wanted to hear what nothing is more frustrating than for others, so I left dots, duh, because you need a post to have 10 characters. And I deleted the contents of the first message b/c it wasn't exactly what I wanted to say, but didn't feel like writing something new right then, but still wanted to hear others' responses.

Not sure why that is so hard to figure out, or so inexplicable. Unless...

^^^

That's why I'm mildly confused, I remember recently trying to delete some thread - and I couldn't figure out how to do it Whatever...it's not that important - I was more curious than anything.

And to stay on topic: Nothing is more annoying than people who don't cover their mouth when they cough and/or sneeze. This has really been bugging me lately.

Nothing is more frustrating then a slow moving work day, and realizing that you're only halfway thorugh it.

Nothing is more frustrating than driving and having to take a major leak knowing the next rest stop is like 30 miles away!

Buuut you're a dude - that problem isn't nearly as frustrating as it is for the ladies..I mean you can whip it out anywhere....and well I am sure that men have as I've seen many a yellow liquid-filled bottle dotting the side of the road
