Default Crazy 'Bout You Baby

It's been 18 months or so since I first got "Madison Blues" as an import. I am still knocked sideways by the live-in-studio version of "Crazy 'Bout You baby" (track 5). The band sounds so tight, Kirwan's solo is jagged and piercing, while Spencer's slide solo is rowdy--even sexy. But it's her voice. Damn, she can sing r and b! This song, along with the live version of "I'm on My Way" mark an interesting direction she didn't pursue on Future Games. They sound more convincing and confident than, say, "Morning Rain." Any thoughts?

My thoughts...I wish I had it. I'll have to try to pick it up sometime since you said all that. I'm intrigued.

I agree. She struggled a bit on her vocals on some of the live concert tracks, but she had no problem with "Crazy 'Bout You Baby", the live studio(BBC) track & the slower live concert songs, "I'm On My Way" & "Lonely Without You", both of which I love. I like "Morning Rain", but not as much as these other tracks from the box set.

Hillary, you should really get this box set. The first four tracks are the Christine Perfect band & they're terrific! The entire box set is full of previously un-released tracks. By the way, this box set was just released here in the U.S., so it's a bit cheaper than getting it as an import.

Whoa! I've been to three on-line CD shops...it HASN'T yet been released domestically here in the US yet. Even CDUniverse had it for pre-sale, but now that the release date has come & gone (should've been released August 16th), they don't show it as a domestic release (only the import). So, I've inquired whether the release was delayed or just outright canceled; and am still awaiting the answer. I'll post the answer once I get it.

Hmmmm...it wasn't there yesterday. Thanks. Cool!

Apparently, CD Universe isn't carrying the domestic version...but, they DO have the import.

Thank you! For some reason I couldn't find it on Amazon at first and I was about to agree with Steve and say that it must not be coming out. Thanks for the link.
