I'm NOT talking about CROWDED HOUSE OR TOM PETTY'S sideman.

I'm talking about MEMBERS of FM.

SOOOOOOOOO, for FM to create new music, they have to bring in some karaoke singers? Got it.

Last I saw, those were exactly who you were talking about.

So, the guy who’s released 14 albums and lives and dies by prerecorded backing tracks is pure, but the guy who has released at least 24 albums and the other who has released at least 15 albums are somehow playing a karaoke show??

You and I apparently have vastly different definitions of artistry and karaoke.

Well, apparently you're the authority. This, that, the other.

C’mon. You saw Lindsey on Kimmel and cringed at the prerecorded tracks, just as we all did for the LBCM TV appearances. Own it like you used to.

I thought it was cool. Very difficult chord changes being made while playing Sould Drifter and backing tracks don’t bother me. Hell Petty used them for years. Just adds some pre-production elements to a live show. Nothing wrong with it.

Then Lindsey goes out and plays solo at a Bluegrass festival with no help from anyone or anything Isn’t there room for both approaches? The guy is almost 70!

Yes, I have no problem with the pre recorded tracks as long as it’s not too overwhelming. I love when he adds his own background voices to his song in the studio and live!
