Default News!

Kristen posted these this morning, and per her caption it's from last night. I believe that is his daughter Leelee singing the ending solo:

It seems he's doing fine.

Yet she still doesn't address his voice.

I wish they would.

It annoys me because she is the one who brought it up. She may think we’re being nosy, but we would never have known and would never have inquired about his voice if she didn’t say it. Vocal cord injury would not even have entered our brains. So, having said it, it would be nice if she gave an update.

I'm sure his voice is a work in progress with the final outcome unknown. More importantly, it sounds like his heart is doing fine. All speculation on my part.

That was my first thought too. He’s fine and that’s all I’m gonna say about it. That was pretty much her message.

I’m happy he’s fine but an additional explanation about his voice status, considering she brought it up in the first place, would be nice.

Beautiful. I figured he could whisper since you don’t use your vocal chords for that.

Same.

But wow, he has had quite an artistically gratifying / influential and highly lucrative career (the best of both worlds), even if he never sings again.

I just desperately wish it had ended on a higher note, if it's indeed over.

yes I don't think he wants his career to be determined by anyone but himself, and most certainly not by Stevie.

So what a low blow for the whole heart thing to have happened before he was able to make a strong musical counter statement to everything they did.
