I danced to "At Last" for my first dance and "Landslide" for the father/daughter dance. It was perfect!!

Our first song was Leather and Lace and we also had the last song be Songbird... however the dj decided to play AC/DC You Shook Me All Night Long right after Songbird.

Ahahaha... that kind of kills the sweet, soft Songbird. Oh well.

Smile Landslide before the ceremony

When my friend, Gina, got married, she had me perform Landslide when the mothers were escorted to the front of the church. Everyone found it quite moving. Of course, the mamas teared up quite a bit. All that business about children getting older...

haha mine are already picked out too.
my mom can't wait to have grandkids...but for now she will just have to make due with a grandcat named Deuce.
He goes by Dootie and calls her Meemaws.

(at this rate, I'll just be the crazy cat lady forever! lol)

I walked down the aisle to Songbird too, instrumental. My first dance was At Last, but used the original version (husband owes me a do-over!) One of our last played songs was Never Forget. My Mom used Leather & Lace as her first dance song.

My wife and I didn't dance to any Fleetwood Mac songs... but while the band wasn't playing we did have "Stephanie" (Buckingham Nicks) on the iPod playing over the PA... and I believe the SYW version of "Bleed to Love Her" and I *think* Say You Love Me might have been on there, too.

Crystal
Without You
and yes... Candlebright

I'd include Frozen Love but for that one line: "You are not happy but what is love?"

What a tormented young soul must Lindsey have been, to be unhappy even with a life of love and music with Stevie Nicks circa 1972. A thing of rare beauty, but of even rarer talent.

About 5 years ago I made a 'Wedding Song' cd for one of my sisters who got married then... The Stevie related songs I put on the cd were:

"Magnet & Steel" ~ Walter Egan & Stevie Nicks
"Leather & Lace" ~ Stevie Nicks & Don Henley
"Whenever I Call You Friend" ~ Kenny Loggins & Stevie Nicks
"At Last" ~ Stevie Nicks
"Sleeping Angel" ~ Stevie Nicks

Donnie Wayne ~

"As Long As You Follow" would be a nice choice.

Without You (Coffee Plant demo) is the #1 song for this occasion.
Leather & Lace is great, but please with Henley's verse edited out -- and the acoustic guitar demo is the one

And how about Sisters Of The Moon? Isn't that song more or less about soul mating?
