Ok here's me. I'm a freshman in high school

-Love PBS, volunteer as a "standing-by-the-phone-to-take-your-donations-person"
-I on the Debate Team and do Mock Trial
-I watch the History Channel all the time
-My favorite subjects are History and English
-Sometimes I watch the Senate on C-Span for fun
-I try to translate movies on the Spanish channel for fun
-I've read the Lord of the Rings trilogy twice
-I know every line of the old Star Wars trilogy and the names of the obscure random Imperial generals that nobody cares about (lol SiriRuane)
-I listen to music my mom listened to in high school

Lots of other stuff, now I feel geekier than I thought I was!

Well, actually let me clarify. I'm talking pre-Jazz Singer. Songs like Brooklyn Roads...Brother Love's Travelin' Salvation Show...Shilo...Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon...Stones...all the great classics...Very cool stuff if you give it a listen
Ten years ago I dated a huge Diamond & Manilow fan.
We didn't make it. I'm a Steviehead, so this kind of inter-nerdal relationship had no chance.

I also know lyrics to a lot of older music. Last night I was singing 'Let's Stay Together' with my youth pastor. So funny.
Ever see the That Seventies Show sene where the mom & the youth pastor are singing Jesus is just alright with me...

I've actually read two in the past few months: One by Allison Weir and the other by David Starkey. Did you see the PBS series based on David Starkey's book? It was excellent-he narrated. Very cool.

You be the judge, here is a list of my electives I chose for this current year in high school:

-- Java Programming
-- Telecommunications/Networking
-- Accounting

Now here is the list for the electives I chose for next year:

-- Computer Repair
-- Digital Graphics & Animation
-- Web Design
-- Independent Studies in Technology Applications

Yeah, there's no denying it.

Oh that damn Nellie!!! But errrgg Mrs. Olsen is worse!! I'm afraid I'm rather bad off, Jake, as I do tend to get emotionally involved in the show, I've said a couple of negative things at my TV...but they were aimed at Nellie or MRs. Olsen hahaha

Jason, it's okay. You're among friends here. And we've all come to the conclusion that yes, we may be closet nerds. But hey, we can program our vcr's, program our computers, and even fix them! See, there are huge advantages to being nerdy!

That's true, though I must admit I have been known to be easily confused by VCRs and even doors of which I cannot identify the side that swings open.

Default nerdisms

Oh this list could go on forever, but:

I am a BIOTECHNOLOGY major, so I automatically qualify, and an English minor b/c I found it relaxing Plus to top this off i took environmental Law for FUN Oh and I love Physics. Okay thats my academia problems

Now other stuff:

95% of the music I own was created before I was born, and sometimes I find myself correcting my Dad on music triva (Beatles, Mac, and JA). Oh and I LOVE the movie Yellow Submarine, and yes I sing along

I am a HUGE Star Wars fan (hence 1/2 of my user name). I have read the books, including NJO, and Zahn is "god."

I loved Daria (MTV show) and still have the episodes on tape

I have a massive comic book collection (Archie) that includes those from the 60s (used) -now.

I can program a VCR, and I can clean my hard drive.

I am capable of checking my cars oil, and I actually enjoy looking at cars, I can even tell the difference b/t a Challenger and a Charger.

I Love football and I do know the position names.

I know way to many trivial facts about horse racing (can spend hours looking over bloodlines), ice-skating, and gymnastics.

Oh and for all you color blind out there: I can tell the diference b/t Teal, turquoise, aquamarine, sea green, and cereluan.

I can spend hours in a Barnes& Nobel or Borders.
