I know what you mean. My mother jingles her keys in her hands as she walks in public, so the sound of keys always makes me think of her and smile. Awww.

My parents were kinda "hippie" influenced when naming me, with Celeste
meaning "heavenly". I can't stand my name.... Growing up - Celeste the Pest,
Let's Molest Celeste, etc...
My father's of Eastern European origin and he insisted that I have the
middle name Nadia which means "hope".
It was their intention from my birth that I was to be called Celeste Nadia
at all times, which I DO like. What can I say, they got lazy and so did everyone else. Hence my one word screen name of celestenadia.

I love it! Very pretty, and don't feel bacn cause you could've had parents like mine which named the majority of their kids after saints like my 7 year old brother, Maximillian Kolbe.

Celeste makes me think of Babar's wife. Sophisticated, though. I think Nadia is pretty.

I like the name Max & it seems to be gaining in popularity. Of course, part of me thinks of the opening credits/narration to Hart to Hart.

If it makes you feel any better, my father graduated with a Brunhilde Schligglemeyer. Try putting "Queen" in front of that.
