Call me negative, but I think that poor sales have led to a cancellation of the tour - the bad back is a useful reason.

One site says that it wasn't possible to reschedule in 2012!!! I cant believe that - London alone has more venues than you would imagine.

Very disappointed.

If that's true about not being able to reschedule, there must be other reasons/commitments.

I still think a Fleetwood Mac tour is being planned. Lindsey has already talked about working within a limited time window on solo work.

I'm still extremely disappointed the UK tour was cancelled. It would have been Lindsey's first and I was so looking forward to it!

Hmm.. what to do with the VIP laminate? I could use it to scrape the ice off the car?

Thanks. Am on hold now and have been for ages....They are playing Adele on repeat. Will get through the entire album at this rate!

Edit: Just off the phone. Ticketmaster guy very helpful, processed the refund and said it should be credited to my account within the next 5 days.

Sad, it makes it all real now. I still can't believe it's been cancelled

Viv had a long chat with LiveNation about it on the phone today. Apparently they said that the whole thing was handled very unprofessionally and Lindsey had had a severe lack of judgement over all of this.

Yeah. Call me cynical, but I feel that there is more to all this. It just seems odd.

I hate to say it, but they are so right about that

p.s: what do they mean by severe lack of judgement?

I just think that this whole episode will be potentially damaging to any future UK tours, which is sad as I am desperate to see him solo. Maybe promoters and fans will be wary about investing in it again?

Obviously Neale's health is priority and it isn't Lindsey's fault; but there appears to have been some serious miscommunication, which is not good at all. And like I said in my other post, something just seems very strange about the whole thing.

Maybe he went into it without fully understanding the time constraints he was committing himself to. Or he failed to take into account the repercussions of a postponement?

I dont see Lindsey as a man that lacks judgment.
His managment maybe, but def not Lindsey.

This whole thing has really annoyed a lot of people, it would be maybe best if lindsey said a few words and addressed his fans. Im sure if he talked about it instead of a press release from his managment people would understand more and respect what has happened.

I am sure Lindsey didnt go and book a uk tour then cancel it just to piss his fans of. So yes there probably is a bit more to it, maybe its personal. but the show could not proceed.

I think it's probably a combination of all your suggestions, it would be a real shame not to have Lindsey solo in the UK purely because of this shambles.

Lindsey should definitely do some kind of 'vlog' to straighten all this out with us fans.

He should.

But he probably won't.

I know for fact that Fleetwood Mac will not tour until fall 2012 at the VERY earliest, and it would be wise to expect a new album before a tour. I think that they cancelled because they don't know when Neale will be ready to work again, not because of any commitments on Lindsey's part.

Nope. Cancelled because they couldn't work out workable dates. That's what LiveNation said.
