Fleetwood Mac - Next Stop Main Road - Manchester, U.K - August 25, 1990 - FM - Flac

This is a great 2 cd set of a FM broadcast of the "Behind the Mask" line-up of Fleetwood Mac which in my opinion was very under rated. Billy Burnett, who plays guitar and sings on this, along with Rick Vito, is now part of John Fogerty's touring band (see recent DVD torrent here of a Austin City Limits broadcast. It is excellent and highly recommended).
It's two cd's alright, but half of cd 2 is Stevie's first concert video, several songs mislabeled in true bootleg fashion
But yeah, great concert I used to play it a lot.

More stuff at the tracker of that fabulous German toyboy David. Let David O. with his perfect-pitch hearing complain about my inaccurate pitch correction.

Fleetwood Mac
1980-08-31
Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Lineage: Audience recording > Audio Cassette (unknown gen.) > TDK DA-3826 burner w/no compression > CD-R (trade via Brian J.) > EAC > Sound Forge (pitch correction to tracks 4-8 of disc 2 & removing the unrelated piece of music at the end of "Songbird") > FLAC

Sound quality: B

Setlist:

Disc 1
01.Monday Morning
02.The Chain
03.Don't Stop
04.Dreams
05.Oh Well
06.Rhiannon
07.Over And Over
08.What Makes You Think You're The One
09.Sara
10.Not That Funny
11.Never Going Back Again
12.Landslide

Disc 2
01.Tusk
02.Think About Me
03.I'm So Afraid (ending cut)
04.Angel
05.You Make Loving Fun
06.World Turning
07.Go Your Own Way
08.Songbird

Notes:

A decent-sounding recording from the-second-to-last Tusk tour date; better posted here than at Dime because the quality is about B or something like that. Once again not all the songs they played that night are present, but this is a Fleetwood Mac bootleg so what else do you expect? The band is in great playing mood as they always seemed to be in August 1980. My favourite "Oh Well" by Lindsey. There's some rowdy coked-out people with a few lame jokes (- "We want Stevie!" - "Wonder!") near the taper, including some BN line-up fans who respond with "never heard of him" when Christine mentions Peter Green. Lindsey sounds like he's almost bursting into tears when introducing "WMYTYTO" (and then delivers a kick-ass rendition right after). Typical high-class jamming in "Not That Funny". Also note Mick screwing up the beginning of "Think About Me" which Christine and John then joke about. What more do you want?

Brian J. prefers to digitize audio cassettes exactly as they were without any noise reduction or whatever, so be prepared for some tape hiss. I did slight pitch correction on tracks 4-8 because they ran a bit too fast originally. There was also an unrelated piece of music right after "Songbird" ends (sounds like the 1987 version of "Big Love") that I decided to remove.

Nancy from BuckinghamNicks.net is currently posting this at the same time as mp3s, apparently from the same discs that we both received from Brian J. I realize the problems that arise out of a lossy source and lossless source being shared at the same time. However, I thought that some purists might prefer the lossless version so here it is.

If you want a sample of this before downloading, just go to Nancy's site and download one of the files: http://www.buckinghamnicks.net/fun/bootleg.html#lindsey

The usual disclaimers:

DO NOT DISTRIBUTE THIS IN LOSSY FORMAT! Converting it for your iPod or whatever is ok, but don't try to pass around those lossy files to someone else as lossless.

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO GAIN FROM THIS RECORDING MONETARILY.

Exclamation Reseed-Fleetwood Mac Oct.8,1974-Hempstead, NY

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=75725

Fleetwood Mac
Ultrasonic Studios Hempstead, New York
8 October, 1974
FM Broadcast

This is a nice 77 minute show from the Bob Welch era of Fleetwood Mac from one of the first internet trades I did way back when, back in the late '90s. I don't think I've ever seen it uploaded here or elsewhere, which is surprising as it is a great show and to my knowledge, never officially released. The sound is very slightly muffled, but otherwise great. Bob Welch is a pretty far out frontman and chats up the crowd with some pretty cool raps. He also pays homage to the great Peter Green by playing several PG songs. While he's no Peter Green on guitar, he is a decent player with a distinctive style, and I recommend this show highly. Christine McVie is excellent as usual with several great songs.

No real artwork for this-if anyone is so inclined, please feel free to make some and share it with us. There is a very poorly done scan that has the tracklisting included.

Exclamation Stevie Nicks-7/17/05-Grand Prairie, TX

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=79973

This recording was captured from the right stack ten rows back with a respectful crowd around me. I was running late for this gig and I arrived at my seat just as the house lights dimmed, so most of the first track has a major amount of flaws because of the mics being set and adjusted. Also track four; about 50 seconds into the song, there is a click where i engaged the bass filter.
Other than that the recording is clear and enjoyable.

You can find a review from from the Dallas paper from Stevie's web page.
