Default NOMINATIONS: Favorite Lindsey Song

Here are the nominations for favorite Lindsey song...Monday Morning, Go Your Own Way, Tusk, Eyes of the World, Goodbye Angel, Tango in the Night, and Steal Your Heart Away.

Nominate 2 songs for favorite Lindsey song according to original album version. These songs won their respective qualifying rounds in the first half of the battle of the songs. The top 3 songs will move on to the Favorite Lindsey Song Finals. The winner of the finals is eligible for Favorite Fleetwood Mac Song. This is Lindsey's only chance to have a song up for Favorite FM song, since he didn't win any of the album battles.

I have delegated Silver Springs as Tiebreaker / Arbiter for these nominations.

Nominations close in 4 days.

Below is one of my favorite Lindsey songs...

Again, more difficult than I thought it would be! I went with GYOW and SYHA though. EOTW and Tusk were my second choices.

I chose the same two, although it was by default. He has other favorite songs of mine that didn't make the cut (WMYTYTO, IKINW)

Tango In The Night and Eyes Of The World. Tango has probably my fav guitar solo of all time... and it's just so atmospheric. Eyes is a great compromise between pushing Fleetwood Mac's signature style yet remaining accessible.

Wow. There's definitely one song that's sticking out at the moment. Who'd have thunk it would be that one, huh GYoW is definitely one of their quintessential "Feck you" songs, and Buddha knows they have plenty of those. Even though it's somewhat mean in its representation of Stevie, I've never been able to help the fact that I do feel sorry for Lindsey. His lyrics and approach to the song in the beginning, his anger when he portrays her bely the deep hurt he's suffering at the time. To what extent it is his own doing, that's only really something Stevie and Lindsey will ever know.

GYOW - The only one of the Rumours-era hits I have never grown tired of.

Tango - Love the mood of the song and the guitar solo.

It failed to make the cut when songs were voted for in earlier polls.

http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showthread.php?t=44452

I'm So Afraid came last in the poll with a total of 9 votes, thus making way for Monday Morning to win with 11. Had you have voted back when this poll was up, you could have made all the difference

Don't worry, Georgie. Doesn't look like it will matter either way. Surprisingly, we have a far in front runner
