Default Where Are They Now

It annoys me that it took me so long to discover FM 1967-1970 because I love the blues: SR Vaughan, Eric Clapton, B.B.King, Buddy Guy etc... We all know all the original members of FM are alive and I know a reunion is probably impossible because of numerous reasons.

But what are they all doing. I know Peter Green was touring a few years a go but not now? Jeremy is doing his thing in America and the last time Danny was spotted/interviewed was twenty years ago in 1993?

The 3 Bobs have since passed. In terms of recording you're right on Jeremy, Peter had been touring on his own in Europe but not recorded anything that's been released since around 2007. Dave Walker is touring and puts out the occasional album. We hear the odd snippet about how Danny is doing mentally, some of the more positive notes have been that he plays guitar for his own enjoyment but it's unclear (doubtful?) that he'll record/tour again.

I've heard rumours that drummer Mick and bassist John had a few small gigs happening in America.

Jeremy was on the cover of Blues Matters magazine fairly recently!

I hope they release 'The Peter Green Story' on Region 1 NTSC DVD sometime soon and you can see and hear all of the above talking about those days/daze. And they're all still better than Sooty in my opinion.

Don't dis Sooty- he was obviously a big influence on Peter's playing!(not much of a singer though!)

On a more serious note, wasn't that one of the great things about that Peter Green Man of the World Documentary- that after all Peter has been through, he still has that fantastic sense of humour .
In his own words "T'riffic!"

Well, he didn't releasae anything, I just meant in terms of any unique recordings he's appeared on that has been releaseed legally, he's on the Various Artists British Blues All Stars: Live at the Notodden Blues Festival CD from 2007:

Hope this helps.

In my novice stage of mastering the Pixiphone (as popularized by Steve Peregrine-Took in Tyrannosaurus Rex) I'm definitely an admirer of Sooty (and especially Harry Corbett, the Hendrix of kids show puppetry). I can play the Sooty theme with one mallet, but two... and with a bear puppet on your hand... amazing stuff!

Ah, Yes of course. Thanks! Black Magic Woman, and a nice solo on Everyday I Have The Blues.

I don't see a (original) Fleetwood Mac reunion, for a DVD, álbum or show soon. I mean for a exclusive production. But I least I would like to see them reunited for 10 minutes, for a Anthology of British Blues special. Would that be so difficult?
