This seems an appropriate thread to post my sad news. I haven't been around in a while because my feline leukemia positive kitty, Gypsy, took ill. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with lymphoma, which is very common among cats with FeLV. Last Tuesday, she died. I've been really heartbroken and too sad to move, almost, much less post about her. Gypsy, aka Doody, was the most special cat I've ever known and I miss her horribly.

Oh, Patti. So sorry to hear that. Losing a pet is so awful - and often people just don't understand that the sadness and loss can be just as devastating as if you lost a person in your life. She was a member of your family. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. I'm so sad, but I know I gave her the best life I could for as short a time as she was with me. I may never be able to listen to the song Gypsy again, however, without sobbing, but that's ok. She was more than worth it.

I'm so sorry , just thinking about if that was Mufasa has me bawling. You will be able to hear Gypsy again someday. For now just take it easy.

Wheee! Pet pics! The first two are of our big-butted cat, Coalie. The fishy is my very own pet, named Montgomery, whom I love to bits.
