Default Rob Cavallo

Has Lindsey ever commented on why he wanted to work with Rob?

Talking I think...

From what I recall, Rob Cavallo was working with Green Day in the 94-96 era and Lindsey liked the production of Green Day's stuff...hence wanting to work with Rob. Cavallo is actually a pretty talented musician from what I've heard about him.

ITA. At the beginning of the video for "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," he's wearing a striped suit, his arms are crossed, and he looks up at the camera, and it totally made me flash to this:

Ack! I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on that. Billy Joe is just a sawed- off little twerp IMO. Have you ever see him live? I swear he's 5'3 if he's lucky. Even Lindsey's god awful eraser head look is better.
I actually kinda like some guys in eyeliner, but even that couldn't save ol' Billy boy.

Yes, but you probably look adorable in those grandpa shirts Curtis. The same cannot be said for Billy Joe in anything methinks.
