Don't Come Around...
<>
I thought (and hoped) forever that Stevie was doing background vocals on Don't Come Around Here No More. Then, VH1 had some special (maybe Top 80 of the 80's) and Stevie talked a little while. She said that Tom brought the song to her to sing with. She said that she did a little bit of it, and then she got really upset and threw a fit (not really sure what about) and never finished the background vocals. She said something about being really selfish at the time or something like that. Maybe she didn't want to share the vocals or something. I'm not the best person to ask about this, but according to Stevie herself in that interview, it is her singing some of the background vocals. Listen hard to the first chorus when the girl sings "Don't come around here no more" three times, and you can definitley tell it's her. I love it! Brad |
