Any chance of this tour being recorded and released?

Either as a CD or DVD? Any scuttlebutt? I really hope they do, though I know someone here probably would have heard something by now if it were going to happen. It would be a great bookend to the Bella Donna tour getting (mostly) released as a CD.

Hey Kevin!

At her Memphis concert last month, she addressed the issue of her "stories" that she tells in between songs. She said something to the effect of "At some point near the end of this tour, we're going to film this show, so I've got to learn how to condense some of these stories and not be so long winded" or something like that. I'll look on YouTube and see if someone captured that moment.

Whether or not she's planning to do something with the concert (a DVD/Blu-ray, or television special, or new live album) remains to be seen. But I'd KILL for a great live version of "Moonlight" from this tour. Definitely one of the highlights of the show.

What great news. I am not a huge fan of Moonlight on IYD but I loved live. There were a lot of highlights on this tour and it would be wonderful to have some sort of recording. Thanks so much for sharing that news.

I wonder if it might be the September shows in Illinois, since she's playing the same venue two nights in a row? That way they can splice together the best takes from two nights.

I really hope she does film a show for a dvd because this tour has been so good, and it deserves to be immortalized with a proper video release. Live in Chicago was great, White Winged Dove video was iconic, and Red Rocks (even with it's complete wildness and close ups) has a special place in my heart. I want the same thing for the 24 Karat Gold Tour because it is arguably one of her best!

With the numbers this tour generated it's safe to say a DVD and a CD are already in the producers' minds.

Do soundstage shows usually get released as CDs or DVDs? I personally only ever watch a DVD once or twice but I listen to music over and over again, so I'm hoping for either just a CD or a CD/DVD where they DON'T exclude the best songs from the CD.
