For all I care, someone can say they love "Last Dance With Mary Jane" and not know anything else.

Well that used to be me for sure But I branched out a bit -and Wildflowers is a great album that holds some great memories for me

What does everyone think of the new record? It's not out here, yet...

My concert cherry was popped by Tom back in 1977. I've seen him about four or five times live. He is by far one of my all time favorites. My favorites will be the same as others have said. My least favorites might get some fingers blazing at me!

Breakdown (One of the sexiest songs ever)
American Girl
Refugee
Here Comes My Girl
Insider
Apartment Song
Walls (With Lindsey Buckingham on background vocals)
Don't Do Me Like That
Have Love Will Travel (Replaced Breakdown as my all time favorite TP song)
The Last DJ (I am one of the few TP fans who love that album!)
You Don't Know How it Feels
Square One (Most Beautiful Ballad from Tom since Insider)
Even the Losers
The Waiting
Mary Jane's Last Dance
I Won't Back Down
Yer So Bad
Free Fallin'
Into the Great Wide Open

Least Favorite:
Listen to Her Heart
I Need to Know
Running Down a Dream

How 'bout a cheer for all those bad girls
and the boys who play that rock and roll
they love it like you love Jesus
It does the same thing to their soul

Tom Petty from Have Love Will Travel

Patty

i have to say that tom petty & the heartbreakers have been my 2nd fav band after fm/stevie all of my life & besides fm/stevie, i believe he is the only other rocker that i have all his released material along w/ boots, live shows & such~ i think he is so talented & i believe it when many people have said that his music is the soundtrack to their lives~
we have a new awesome massive auditorium, that so stupidly instead of just building it a certain way in the beginning after 3 yrs is deciding that they want to add like 2500 more seats(frickin' idiots), & have been shut down all summer, no frickin' shows/concerts here, it is posta be done by the end of this month~ & petty always came here, but as of yet we aren't listed as a city i am sure becuz of the adding of the seats, i have just been praying tho, he will add more dates & come here before the tour is all over, i will be 1 hot mama if i can't make this tour ~
