Yes, I do. If I see one in my apartment, I scoop it up and put it back outside. Why kill it? It did nothing to me.

Because if YOU didn't buy it, and not care, maybe they wouldn't torture it. It's called making choices in your consumption that are responsible and humane. Your money talks, it tells companies "it's okay to torture animals, cause i will buy it anyway".

Why I would spend money to support the very people who are torturing those animals? It's called consumption.

Well, they are alive It is still killing a living thing - assuming the plant must be killed when harvested. AND - you seem to care enough for them when they are ripped out of the soild for logging, etc.

I think I mentioned this awhile back, but I had a friend that refused to eat ANYTHING unless it had fallen naturally from a tree. AND - he was not thin

Only the last link worked, and I guess I feel slightly more sorry for the chickens, but it's so hard for me to see the connections between live slaughtered feathery chicken and the crispy deep fried stuff served at KFC. If they served the chicken like the pictures on that site, I'd definitley refrain from buying it.

Ridiculous argument. Just appallingly ridiculous. To equate plucking a head of lettuce to killing an animal is absurd and you know it.

But now you know. You can make a better decision now.

You should refrain from buying it if the idea of innocent animals being tortured repels you.

Ah now who is drawing the severer line - I think it is all life. But, I recognize that we have to kill it (usually) to eat it.

that's just not a good argument, and you know it.

I can "see" feeling bad for a chicken, but seriously I go out of my way to kill most bugs. If I see a fly somewhere in my house, I could spend an hour trying to kill the danm thing. Bugs just shouldn't be allowed to live. And Mosquitos are worse. They carry diseases, there's no way I can see a mosquito and let it live.

Goodnight, dear. My IQ has dropped 12 points listening to that useless argument alone.
