I am being evacuated - I think

The creek near my house is about to overflow due to swelling from the rain from the Tropical Storm that hit AL earlier today. A fire truck and several other ES vehicles are going up and down the streets and annoucing over the loudspeakers that we should "prepare to evacuate"

It's been bad here also..we were under a tornado warning earlier...and now we are under a flood warning

Seriously, I may go there, but the trucks are still here, but are no longer blasting out the "prepare to evacuate" warning and sirens are no longer goin off. OY VEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I hope you guys are ok and don't get flooded out. My best friend lives down in Dublin Ga. midway between ATL and Savanah with a creek running through his back yard .I'll have to give him a call to see how he is doing.

Definitely leave if they tell you to do it! We had flooding here back in the spring, and someone died because he wouldn't leave his house. He was swept away along with his house.

We have flood warnings here tonight as well. Believe me if they tell me to go, I'm gone.

Well, that's just it, they said be "prepared to evacuate" and then nothing more and the news is saying nothing about it nor can I find out on the net if Peachtree Creek is about to flood out the Peachtree Battle area. AARRGGHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

If its the fire department out there, then call the fire department to see what's going on. Be safe, Jason, I'm sorry this is happening! Keep your precious ones close.
