Default Tusk 10 Minutes Version

I'm searching for an existing 10 Minutes Version of Tusk.
I've never heard it.Spot on Mick. Pretty drum orientated.
Don't know if it's a Live version or an outtake.
I would be very thankful for any advices.

Could you be a little more vague dear? I'd like to help you out, though. There is a drum track version of Tusk with no vocals out there on one of the reels that has surfaced in the last few years. I can't remember if it's the Tusk test press, acetate, alternate...I seem to remember it being on a CD that has some Mirage songs on it as well. I don't know if this particular version is 10 min. though. It's very percussion-y so it might be what you're looking for. I'll have to go through my boots and see if I can find it unless someone else can identify it for you first. Good luck.

Yeah, I looked for a while yesterday but I couldn't find it. It's all percussion-y and at first you almost can't tell that it's Tusk. I think it goes on for a while. I wonder if that's the one he's talking about.

Hi

Thanks for replies.
I can't be more precise, because I didn't hear this version.
But it might the one you're talking about "gldstwmn".Hmm.
"Master reel" What do mean with that AliceLover?
Sounds like a bootleg company.
I was looking at "fleetwoodmac-uk.com/artwork/index.html" to find
something from this time. But there are no indications and no
boots with alternate versions.
So if you get something new in this case let know please. I go further on
with my investigations
Best wishes

*Alfred*

There's a remix from one of the master reels....it runs seven minutes, and something.... It came on the same master reel CD as Cecelia, though I somehow doubt these were on the same reel-to-reel tape. Anyhow, it is very percussion-y, but does feature vocals. This may be the version in question, even though it's not 10 minutes. I have posted it with You Send It.com, and if interested, you may download it here for a limited time:

Ok I got news.

It is a live version from the eighties.Probably a performance
during elections with Bill Clinton. This performance was broadcasted
in TV ABC,NBC I don't know.
Think "don't stop" was his (Bill Clinton) election song.
So maybe somebody grabbed this performance from tv and can
maybe post it.

Best regards.

Alfred, Clinton was elected in 1992. Fleetwood Mac played one song at his inauguration and that was Don't Stop. Are you looking for Don't Stop or Tusk?

I know what you mean. It's just what a friend told me. He told me that
he heard Don't stop too. Maybe FM was involved already in his election tour.
So it must be something like a concert and not
only one song. He saw it on the tv.
Anyway I see it very difficult.Maybe I post a question at dd.

All the best

I've got a live bootleg feom 8-11-80 where Tusk is 9 minutes long. I wonder if that's the one you're thinking of?
