The river goes on and on
And the sea that divides us
Is a temporary one
And the bridge will bring us back together.

Thank you for everything Christine.

That's exactly what I thought, too. Stevie has to turn everything into being about her. She's awful.

THIS is the day I've dreaded since I became a fan, 45 years ago. The HEART of Fleetwood Mac is gone.

My best friend just told me, in a very polite way. Cause she knows I'd be very sad. And I am.

There's no use in crying, it's all over
But I know there'll always be another day
Well my heart will rise up with the morning sun
And the hurt I feel will simply melt away
You make me feel, I just can't carry on
But I know I won't always be that way
'Cos my heart will rise up with the morning sun
And the hurt I feel will simply melt away
You don't have to give up
Why is it all wrong
Why don't you love me
Why won't you just be strong

No words. It’s so sad but I thank her and Fleetwood Mac for being the soundtrack of my life. I can’t tell you how many friends have reached out to me (Facebook) and said I was the first person that they thought of when they heard the news……well 46 years is along time. I saw Christine live many times of the years with last time on the Buckingham/McVie tour. RIP Songbird.

I’m so sad but I am more sad for the people who knew Christine McVie personally. Christine is more or less responsible for this wild and wonderful musical journey for me. The sun will be lonely tomorrow when it rises tomorrow because there is no Christine to shine on. Rest in Peace our wonderful and beautiful Songbird.

Yes, I thought he was talking about his life nearing its end.

Yes. The Temporary Bridge words I put on the last page of my father’s funeral announcement in 2005. I had those words printed beneath a photo of my father holding me as an infant.

I think of the past owner of the Penguin, Lisa, and how much she admired Christine and the work she put into telling Christine’s epic story.

I haven't posted on here in about 4 years. Popping in to say how devastated I am to hear of Christine's passing. I was in complete shock when my friend texted me the news. I've always dreaded the day one of them goes, but I never expected Christine to be the first. I know she was the oldest but still. I'm so thankful I got to see her a couple of times. She was without a doubt the heart and soul of Fleetwood Mac. An exquisite musician, singer, and songwriter with a beautiful soul to go along with it. May her memory live on forever.

Angel please don't go. I miss you when you're gone.
