Default Jeremy Spencer's Hofner?

Hi
I'm just wondering if anyone know what Hofner model Jeremy played,
this is the one I'm after, in the very beginning

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IziwR...feature=relmfu

on his website he says that he played a Verythin, that don't look like a Verythin to me though... anyone that knows?

Well, a bandmate of mine (occasionally) plays a thin Hofner guitar.
See the attached photo.
I wonder if that's what Jeremy meant.

The Hoffner Verithin was a double cut away guitar with -you guessed it a thin body ! The guitar |Jeremy is playing in the clip is single cut away with a deeper body- it looks like a jazz style guitar to me so the answer's no
(the thumbnail is a solid body guitar !? )

I suspect Jeremy can solve this one !

Well stone the crows and other Cockney exclamations !- apparently Hoffner made a single cutaway Verthyn model as well so that'll teach me not to post before I've done some research !

Seems like you used more than one Hofner...
Because in the very beginning of this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IziwR...feature=relmfu
you're playing a single cutaway Hofner.

Hope I don't confuse anyone with all these diffrent guitars...

My memory failed me there, and I will now have to update my website! It was a Hofner blonde President with a single cutaway. circa 1960. After playing a couple of solid body electrics, I'd wanted to go back to a good cello body, and found this one to be just right. At that time (1970) it was 2nd hand and cheap because it was way out of vogue!

Indeed, here we play It Hurts Me Too, with my bandmate playing the slide on the Hofner solid body, sounds great.
