Well I've somehow managed to record Absolute radio from 8:55 - 10:55 tonight on my TV so I'll be able to listen to their whole set hopefully! I'll let people know the setlist as soon as I hear it.

Looks like festival organizer has taken matters in to his own hands by locking the band in a large trunk and will personally guaranty the bands arrival by wheeling them on stage himself...

And yes Stevie insisted on her own trunk...Why???

Because her trunk contains a magical kingdom quite like "Narnia"

Damn. Sounds like they aren't allowing the radio station to play anything live. They are hand-picking a few tracks the station will be allowed to play in the morning. Might be an interview in a little while though.

I'm seeing that the band has asked that their set not be streamed...

I'm pretty sure they'll just air the whole thing. Apparently they're being interviewed in a minute on Absolute radio, fingers crossed!

Tbh I'm glad the band is getting this negative publicity - the should never have booked the dates in the first place and take the fans for granted.

Shame I can't hear the set on Absolute Radio though.

[So is Landslide going to be dedicated to the Spice Girls??]

Mirror.Co.UK 16:42, 14 June 2015 By Rebecca Pocklington

Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner travel to Isle of Wight festival by HELICOPTER for Fleetwood Mac performance

Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner know how to travel in style, and the pair arrived at the Isle of Wight festival today in a HELICOPTER.

Yes, the very same festival which became a washout on Friday and left the crowd in enough mud to sink a ship.

The former Spice Girl is following in Emma Bunton and Mel C's footsteps after they were snapped together at the festival yesterday, and joined her hubby for a luxury trip there.

Arriving just in time for Fleetwood Mac's closing performance tonight, the pair posed happily outside their helicopter - without an inch of mud in sight.

She captioned the photo: "On our way to Isle of Wight festival."

Geri looked amazing in a short patterned dress and long brown boots, wearing her shades and optimistically preparing for sun.

Meanwhile Christian wore jeans and a navy shirt next to his wife - we hope someone warned them of the conditions inside.

It was a wash out on Friday as fans were left wading through puddles to watch their favourite acts, but the festival underwent quite the transformation yesterday - and long may it last.

More than 50,000 people have travelled across the Solent to enjoy the Isle of Wight Festival which last night had rain-soaked performances by The Black Keys and The Prodigy.

Amongst the chart acts to entertain the crowds during the sunny afternoon were James Bay, who sang his hit Hold Back The River, and Jessie Ware. Kool And The Gang entertained the crowds with hits Jungle Boogie and Ladies Night.

I don't understand this. Why are you glad about negative publicity for the band? Is ther negative publicity? Why shouldn't they have booked the dates in the first place? What does taking the fans for granted mean? I'm totally at loss with your post, what am I missing? I'm glad that they play on today, whoever was ill must be better, fans at IoW are exited, fans who have tickets for the next concerts must be relieved. All is good at this moment.
