"Miranda" the next single???
One of my local radio stations played "Miranda" earlier tonight. It was their "buzz cut" of the evening. Are stations in any other area playing "Miranda" also? I was really hoping that they would release "Everybody Finds Out" next.

I thought the next single would be Say You Will" since it was the other song besides "Peacekeeper" on the sticker on the album. I just found it odd that they played "Miranda"...not that I don't love that song. It's quickly become one of my favorites,

Ooh I sure hope it's Miranda
Miranda would be an AWESOME single . I love it. but they probably want to do a Stevie song. I just hope it's NOT Say You Will. That's my least fave song on the album. IMO, It's kinda blah, and won't last long on radio. Peacekeeper is already getting dropped from playlists like crazy, from what I'm told (I work in radio and I've been asking some of my dj friends how it's doing). Everybody Finds Out would be great!!

Sorry I don't think Miranda is going to be a good single. It's too way out there for the masses.
I think the next one will be " say you will" "Whats the world coming too" "thrown down" "everyone finds out." " steal you heart away" could be a good selection also. |

I absolutely detest "Miranda". This was the one song I disliked from GOS and once again, it is the only track on SYW that I can't tolerate. Stevie's harmonies do improve things significantly but it's still a load of old crap.

I was so upset when I saw that song on the cd...simply because I know a Miranda who is evil!!! EVIL!!!...I also can't listen to Sheryl Crow's song Rose Marie....anyway...I digress....I listened to Miranda all the way through...and damned if that's not one of my favorite songs on the album....it's SO catchy...and I just love it! I just gotta put evil Miranda outta my head I guess...ok...so this was all just a round about way to say that even though I love the song, I think it'd be weird if it were their next single..for radio play they probably should stick with something that's a little more traditional "fleetwood Mac-ee"

... but doesn't a radio single need a chorus?

Not really...there is a lot worse on the radio today...most of what I hear is absolute crap. And Miranda has an excellent chorus....

The second single is "Say You Will"
For the third single I think any of these would work... "WTWCT" "Thrown Down" "Everybody Finds Out" "SYHA"

I think it should be Say You Will.
It is the title track, and from what I've been hearing & reading, this is the song that seems to be the one people are associating as "being more Fleetwood Mac" and having the "Fleetwood Mac sound" that we've known from the past......more than the other songs on the album. I don't know, no matter for me, because unfortunately, I still haven't even heard Peacekeeper being played on any radio stations near me. Stephanie

I would not care
if Miranda was the next single off of SYW. I don't know if Miranda is fictional or a real person, but I love this song. It is catchy. I loved Lindsey's demo of it, & with Stevie in there, it sounds even better.
