Christine has confirmed that "Brown Eyes" will be in the setlist this fall.

And separately, very excited to have finally learned how to imbed tweets!

OMG please do Hold Me!

Maybe they will actually do a couple more Christine songs than Stevie and Lindsey songs, in which case... Hold Me, Little Lies, Isn't it Midnight please!

Say you Love me and You make loving fun are the two musts, if both of those are not performed, I'll be very upset. And full Say you love me, not the dance version.

Does Christine McVie have a Facebook page?
That's a joke right?
An official page? Sorry...I'm terribly shocked by that. Don't know what to say.
Sounds like it's Facebook time at 2304 Australian EST. Thanks girl!

No joke, Christine has an official FB page now. It's run by Fleetwood Mac's management, obviously. No one in Fleetwood Mac actually uses social media (smart )

That's awesome you counted all that up. The unfortunate thing is it looks like the songs we ALWAYS here are the ones at the top of the list which is too bad.

I'd love to hear songs that would have been performed with Lindsey had he not bailed on the Tango in the Night tour: Little Lies, Seven Wonders and Isn't It Midnight. Little Lies was such huge hit, I was surprised that it wasn't performed on The Dance.

It would be a refreshing surprise if they deviate a bit from all obvious choices. I don't understand the mindset of "fans" who demand that certain songs must be performed or they will be really mad, and feel slighted. They are part of the reason the set lists become so stagnant, and shows have become so corporate.

Songs like Say You Love will likely make the set list, but if didn't make the set, I wouldn't be peeved about it, because perhaps it would replaced with a song she's never or rarely performed, which would make the show all the more special. I want to be surprised.

How cool it would it be if Christine pulled out songs such as Why, or Spare Me A Little, or As Long As You Follow, or Hollywood, or Sugar Daddy, or Never Forget ... just something off the beaten path.

I think it's just as much the mindset of the band. It's a belief that the band seems to have about what they must do to please the audience. Either that, or the band are such perfectionists that the idea of playing more songs that haven't been road-tested repeatedly (or playing familiar songs in new, different arrangements) is too daunting to them. Many of their frequently-performed songs are not hits or even singles (I'm So Afraid, Gold Dust Woman, World Turning, Second Hand News, etc.) but these songs fulfill a certain role in the concert (ISA is the showcase for Lindsey's guitar soloing, World Turning is Mick's), and they just keep playing them, maybe out of comfort more than anything (they could make another song into the guitar showcase, and I don't think the audience would get upset and leave. Similarly, they could perform Big Love in its original hit arrangement -- which has never been performed live-- and use another song as Lindsey's acoustic piece-- and I don't see how this would cause them to lose their audience in any way).

Yes, there are certain songs that casual concertgoers will want to hear no matter what (Dreams, Go Your Own Way, Don't Stop, etc.) but I don't think anyone is going to desert them if they also play Seven Wonders, Little Lies, and Hold Me, which were all actual hit singles but which haven't been performed in decades.

At this point, they have more leeway than they realize-- even their lesser-known albums are generally regarded as minor classics. There is also a lot more nostalgia for 80s music now than there was in '97. The 80s seems to be worshipped by a lot of newer bands and pop stars, who to some degree or another are modeling their music and/or image after that time period. So a couple more songs from Mirage and Tango (even deep cuts) shouldn't be that alienating to the audience -- it's not like Fleetwood Mac would be playing 2 hours of free-form jazz or something.

I think it looks that way because we all have different deep cuts in mind, but pretty much everyone includes The Chain and Songbird, so when you add it all up, those songs come out highly, while the deep cuts only get a few votes each.

I thought it was significant that Little Lies was so high on the list (tied with Songbird as the highest-voted Christine song). Maybe they'll have to play it this time.

I'm so excited for this tour but the one song I REALLY hope they do is Seven Wonders because I can listen to that song all day and it garnered more popularity recently with AHS coven and I think Stevie's voice would really suit it. I have a feeling they'll do it. I hope so!!!

This is a well-thought out set list,(however no consideration for a few new songs, Oh Well!)

How might you change what I came up with to adjust for possible new songs? I think when I posted this one in the other topic I switched Blue Letter (or Bleed to Love Her) with Second Hand News, so the latter could come toward the end. I do like the idea that The Chain is the final full-band song. Landslide needs to come at the very end of the concert. It should be one of the encores, if not the very last song if Songbird's location changes. People are looking for this song...in my experience going to rock concerts it's always good to keep them waiting. I'd have liked to put Thrown Down (for Say You Will) and Fireflies, but I just don't feel like they are very likely. Plus, would Stevie actually drop Gold Dust Woman or Rhiannon or Dreams? Bleed to Love Her is probably the most likely this time around. Really, they shouldn't be too restrictive with their set, as they did just tour a year ago and people (fans and casual concert goers alike) want a different show. (Good) music critics should want a different show too. I think this setlist has 18 different songs from last time (counting a different arrangement for Gypsy).

This is what I'd like to see/what we're most likely to see from Christine:

Not going anywhere:
You Make Loving Fun
Songbird
Say You Love Me

Very Likely
Oh Daddy - this seems to be a band sentimental favorite, all but confirmed
Brown Eyes - the only song we know for sure is in the set, confirmed by Christine; I think this will be her sole representation from Tusk (sorry Think About Me...if Stevie does Angel, Think About Me sounds very similar)

1-2 Tango Songs - I'd rank in this order of my preference:
Little Lies
Isn't It Midnight
(Everywhere)

1 Mirage Song -
Love In Store
(Hold Me)

Pre-1975 Song
Why

Possible Alternate for Any Above
Over My Head
1 New Song

1. The Chain

Lindsey songs

2. Second Hand News
3. Go Your Own Way
4. Big Love - whole band
5. Bleed to Love Her
6. Never Going Back Again
7. So Afraid (but a little shorter)
8. I Know I'm Not Wrong
9. Monday Morning

Christine songs

10. Why
11. Little Lies
12. Don't Stop (I don't want this but it's inevitible)
13. You Make Loving Fun
14. Say You Love Me
15. Think About Me
16. Songbird
17. Over My Head

Lindsey/Christine

18. World Turning

Stevie

19. Dreams
20. Silver Springs
21. Gold Dust Woman (a little shorter)
22. Rhiannon
23. Landslide
24. Seven Wonders
25. Sara
26. Stand Back

I wanted a couple of songs a little shorter to throw in an extra song.

They can do a Tango tribute of Big Love, Little Lies and Seven Wonders like they did for Tusk on last tour.
