My Silver Springs story
So I get into Fleetwood Mac after hearing I Don't Want To Know on the radio in February of 1977. I was hooked........ So the family goes to the Poconos for a winter vacation sometime in March of 1977.I see a Jukebox and notice there is a B-side of Go Your Own Way from Rumours with a song I knew wasn't on the album called Silver Springs. I played it...........OMG! That song became one of my favorite MAC songs and still is today. To this day with all the reissues, The Dance version, the original studio verision will always be my favorite. I will also mention I ended up living in Maryland only miles away from the Silver Springs road sign that Stevie got the title from. Isn't that weird??

I found that same 45 listed in Record Bar's big order catalog and noticed that title. I had no idea who sang it till I played it. Turned out to be one of my favorites also. That was probably between '84 and '86. |

I found the import in Cleveland and bought the song for $7. lol Loved it, but felt it was a little country and that's why they left it off. The Dance version does it for me.
