Default Facebook newsfeed

I posted a video on a friend's wall. Now it shows up on the newsfeed. Can everyone see this? I don't want everyone to see it but I don't see an "x" to remove it. I can remove it from my wall but not from the general newsfeed page.

Am not finding anything on FB help that addresses this.

???

To the best of my knowledge, it will only show up on your and the other the other person's newsfeed... and any mutual friends you two may share on facebook. Otherwise, it should not show up on others newsfeeds.

Thanks louie...I just wondered myself whether that was the case. So, basically, my friends that aren't friends with the friend I posted to won't be able to see it? Is that confusing or what?

And to make it even funnier, it was Christine's "Friend" video I posted lol.

To the best of my understanding, that's correct. Facebook is convoluted, indeed!

Yeah, pretty much everything shows up in the main newsfeed but only mutual friends between you both can see it there.

And....... I'm totally clueless as to what everyone is talking about. I think I'm the only person in the universe that doesn't have a Facebook account.

Oh, just do it!
Michelle2677 hounded me forever, about doing it. And I finally did.

Wanna know something? My social life is FAAARRRRR better for doing so. Seriously. I keep my "chat" shut off, just because someone's always wanting me to instantly go and do something with them.
I have zero regrets, about finally joining FB. Just.do.it.

The only reason I would join is to keep in touch with my family in England. My phone has to hate me with all of the charges I rack up.

I'm just worried that joining would cause quite of bit of contention between my fiance and me. I work in a restaurant on the Las Vegas strip while I go to college, and it's almost par for the course that you get hit on. If some guy gives me his number (which I always throw out), suddenly I'm having an affair. As if I give a flying f*ck about the drunken idiots on the strip.

Well, you can set your account, to where only your friends can access your info. You can even use a fake name, if you like.
I go back and forth now, on which I prefer more, FB or the Ledge.
For me too, I ONLY use FB for friends, not family. My family doesn't need to see my Charlie Sheen lifestyle, in print!

I will probably just stick with not having one. Long story short, ever since I stopped doing drugs, all of my "friends" couldn't care less about what I'm doing. If you work on the Strip, you can get drugs like freakin' candy. It's amazing if you're not trying to behave yourself.

My family members that live in the US, only care about their kids/husbands and how wonderful their lives happen to be.

I'll just stay here in semi-lurker mode, I think.

Yes, on the drugs. My cousin has always been a huge pot smoker(with occasional blow), and had seemingly hundreds of friends.
It took me a long time, to figure out why she was so popular. Pot smokers of a feather, flock together! I mean, you also have to have a network, of getting your fix. She stopped drugs for a while, and the friends disappeared.
And she finally realized, too, that those people weren't really her friends, only friends of convenience.

The only FB friends I can't stand, are the ones who post, all day long, "I love you so much, honey....I can't wait until I get home, so I can be with my baby". I can't STAND those posts, and usually block them from my feed.

No need to lurk, here! Post away! I like reading your posts!
