Guitar Aficionado, The Collections
[Coffee Table book with Lindsey's 1969 guitar in it]
Sacramento Bee, December 4, 2013 http://www.sacbee.com/2013/12/04/596...this-year.html _"Guitar Aficionado: The Collections" "Certain guitars, you'll pick them up and something about them will just click," said Rich Robinson. He should know. The guitarist for the Black Crowes is among the musicians who provide a peek at their most-prized instruments in this coffee-table book from Guitar Aficionado magazine. Designed to stoke the fires of guitar lust, specimens include Lindsey Buckingham's 1969 Martin D-18, bought when he was just a teen; Robbie Robertson's 1958 Bronze Fender Stratocaster from "The Last Waltz"; and Duane Allman's 1957 Goldtop Gibson Les Paul, on display at The Big House Museum in Macon. This book won't turn readers into better guitar players, but it might inspire them to try harder. Time Home Entertainment, $50. Read more here: http://www.sacbee.com/2013/12/04/596...#storylink=cpy |

I assume you heard what Bob Dylan's sunburst Fender Stratocaster from 1965 sold for today: $965,000. And don't you say to me that Lindsey is no Bob Dylan!

Lindsey does have a better voice I must say. I guess the $960,000 bid I made just wasn't enough. |
