Thanks for the quick update on the Stevie/Stewart story.

I'm really glad Lindsey is playing NEW tunes instead of the old favorites.
Time Precious Time just has some crazy guitar work. It does represent the passage of time quite well though, it's not one of my favorites of his (as of right now).

...and I can't type this evening apparantly, my apologies

Still soo good though. He's such a master. Poor CAH, he acts like there was never a relationship there. I guess for him there wasn't. He said after Stevie it was just him and his guitar until his wife and kids came along.

Is it just me or does his voice sound A LOT better than it has recently?

Yeah, sounds like Carol and Cheri never even existed. Guess they were overshadowed by the "Spectre of Stevie."

Ohhh... a little bit of "Gift of Screws" now. I LOVE THAT SONG.

He's definitely ON IT tonight! I really shuddered when I heard his last performance.

I thought this too actually. I wonder what he's doing differently.

No, I agree. His voice sounds stronger and far less strained -- which is impressive since he said he spent the day rehearsing for the tour.

I agree. His vocal was terrific on these songs - Time Precious Time was MUCH better than the recent live performance. I am so impressed - Lindsey was ON.

I'm so excited to see him live!

There's a bit of reverb on there, I think, but I agree, he sounds amazing.

Thumbs up

He sounds phenomenal. Big Love sounds WAY different to me as it did on that last performance he did of the song in Colorado. The guitar sounds different as does his voice. The new songs are amazing too. The guitar work in Time Precious Time...sweet Jeebus. It's like a waterfall...in China. LOL I can't describe it any other way.

Love hearing that Love Runs Deeper was amazing. Several people have praised it now and I so look forward to hearing it.

I never liked the title Great Day. I thought it sounded too generic and I felt that if it didn't have an ironic surprise in the lyrics, then I'd be upset with it. But now that I know that's the song that Will wrote the chorus for, I'll let it slide.

Well, we know he remembers at least one woman after Stevie, since he claimed that Come was about Anne.

Things were crazy today and I couldn't listen to the broadcast, but I'm so glad that it will be archived. It was really fun to read the summaries here.

That is weird about Dave Stewart.
