Default Which side reigns supreme? Mirage

Onto the 80's.

Side 1-
1. Love in Store
2. Can't Go Back
3. That's Alright
4. Book of Love
5. Gypsy
6. Only Over You

Side 2-
1. Empire State
2. Straight Back
3. Hold Me
4. Oh Diane
5. Eyes of the World
6. Wish You Were Here

Which is your favorite side?

This one is harder for me. My two favorite Mirage songs (ES and EOTW) are on side two, but other than Hold Me, I'm not a fan of the other songs on this side. On side one, I love LIS and TA and like BOL and Gypsy. Not a huge fan of CGB or OOY. So even though my favorites are on side two, I have to go with side one, just because there's more songs I like there.

Ok. I think Hold Me is the premiere song on the album, but I still had to go with Side 1, when I weighed the scales.

My favourite song from the album is on side two, but all the other songs that I like are on the first side, so for me it's side one.

Side one no question about it. IMO, Mirage, though not the band's best album, has the best sequencing of them all, dare I say even better than the sequencing on Rumours.

Side two easily for the happy vibe, I adore Lindsey at his silly.
Chris is great on that side too!

Side 1 contains two great, unheralded Lindsey songs, one my favorite Christine songs ('Love in Store') and far and away my favorite Fleetwood Mac song, 'Gypsy' (although I never listen to the album version anymore, only the extended version on The Chain box set), and it's tied with 'Sleeping Angel' as my favorite Stevie song ever. Plus 'That's Alright' is amazing, wicked underrated, way better than people give it credit for. Side 1 for sure. The best thing on side 2 is 'Hold Me'. Everything else on side 1 kills.

Side one! EVERY SINGLE SONG is a gem!!!

Side two with the abysmal "Empire State", "Oh Diane" and "Wish You Were Here"? Not so much!
