Default Happy 35 years of Mirage!

Probably the most underrated album by the classic lineup but a fine pop album nonetheless.

I'm loving the deluxe set....... The band was at the top of their game. The best live concert ever. I'm glad to have been there to enjoy those years.

Pure pop/rock greatness. I love everything about the Mirage era. Its when I became a fan. Their voices, their looks, their concerts.... all peak at this time. It was an end of an era before the dry 80's for Mac work and the solo work explosion. Things would never be the same again.

Not one of my favorite albums but it grown on me since I became a fan. I wish I was one back in the day. Everything was perfect. It must've been a fantastic tour judging by the DVD.

I love this album. Straight Back is one of my favorite Stevie songs. Her and Chris' vocals are fantastic on this. I like all the songs on Mirage. Hold Me, EOTW, I could go on.... The deluxe version is amazing. After my mother in law died I found 3 boxes of 78 records in her garage. One of them was Cool Water. I literally laughed out loud when I saw it.

3 of Stevie's best ever songs, Straight Back, That's Alright and Gypsy.

Great album, although some filler from Lindsey and Christine - Empire State, Wish You Were Here, Only Over You.

I agree with you about Stevie's songs, but Only Over You is really good. It's one of my favorite Christine songs as well as one of the best songs on Mirage. Just listen to it and listen to all the instruments, it really is great.

Wonderful album. There's a lot about BuckVie album that reminds me of Mirage.

Only Over You is an amazing song. I think it gets forgotten because its the last song on the first side of Mirage - an album that is usually not the favorite of Mac fans.
Its a full orchestra with deeply sentimental lyrics most likely written about Dennis Wilson. Lindsey plays an amazing guitar and I love the entrancing musical melody towards the end. I think because the song starts out immediately with vocals its easy to discard it as cheese. I was like that when I first heard it. But its probably one of Christine's most beautiful songs ever. To call it filler is crazy. The music and the lyrics are so good.

Amen. The new Fleetwood Mac album reminds me of Mirage more than any other album.

I'm brutally honest, and call a spade a spade.

Because it's EVERY BIT AS MUCH A FLEETWOOD MAC ALBUM AS SYW WAS.

There's no pussy footing around this. So,
No Christine = FM
No Stevie = NOT FM
The bullsh*t flag is being thrown on this play!
