Last but not least, LIVE! favorite 1980 vynil album side.
So let's see which side is the favorite among ledgies. The 1980 Live album:
Side one 1."Monday Morning" (Buckingham) – recorded at Tokyo – 3:51 2."Say You Love Me" (McVie) – recorded at Wichita – 4:18 3."Dreams" (Nicks) – recorded at Paris sound check – 4:18 4."Oh Well" (Green) – recorded at St. Louis – 3:23 5."Over & Over" (McVie) – recorded at Oklahoma City – 5:01 Side two 1."Sara" (Nicks) – recorded at St. Louis – 7:23 2."Not That Funny" (Buckingham) – recorded at Cleveland – 9:04 3."Never Going Back Again" (Buckingham) – recorded at Tucson – 4:13 4."Landslide" (Nicks) – recorded at London – 4:33 Side three 1."Fireflies" (Nicks) – recorded at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium for crew and friends – 4:37 2."Over My Head" (McVie) – recorded at Kansas City – 3:27 3."Rhiannon" (Nicks) – recorded at London – 7:43 4."Don't Let Me Down Again" (Buckingham) – recorded at Passaic – 3:57 5."One More Night" (McVie) – recorded at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium for crew and friends – 3:43 Side four 1."Go Your Own Way" (Buckingham) – recorded at Cleveland – 5:44 2."Don't Stop" (McVie) – recorded at Paris sound check – 4:05 3."I'm So Afraid" (Buckingham) – recorded at Cleveland – 8:28 4."The Farmer's Daughter" (Wilson, Love) – recorded at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium for crew and friends – 2:25 It was controversial within the band, this record, because I was the only one who wanted to do it. It was not a popular decision. Both John McVie and Lindsey Buckingham thought it was a negative move, but I always bought Greatest Hits albums myself, and I strongly felt there had to be a live document of the band at this point. Besides, we had great material to work with.... Later in the year, we released Fleetwood Mac Live as a double album, and it wasn't a big success. There were many accusations of "We told you so," but I have no regrets. (Mick Fleetwood)

side 3 simply 'cause of Rhiannon! Fireflies and Don't Let Me Down Again doesn't hurt either

agreed. rhiannon is the most important recording on this album. that said: I love 1 and 5 on side 1.

It was a bitter fight between sides 1 & 3, but side 1 triumphed. For me, it came down to my love of Over & Over trumping One More Lonely Night.

"Oh Well" is on side 1...'nuff said. (and that's even despite my not really caring for Lindsey's take on the song)

Even when I'm So Afraid is my favourite song of the whole album, I vote for Side 1, definitely!!
One amazing song from everyone: Monday Morning (LB), Over & Over (CM), Dreams (SN), Oh Well (PG). |

Side three, becasue of Don't Let Me Down Again, Rhiannon, and the two non-album tracks Fireflies and One More Night.
