RIP Jack Bruce
Saw the news this morning that Jack Bruce has passed away. Of course he's best-known for his role in Cream (his songwriting, vocals, and bass defined Cream to me as much as Clapton's guitar), but he was one of the key players in the early British Blues boom since the early 1960s, being a member of Blues Incorporated with Alexis Korner, The Graham Bond Organization, and briefly with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers.
Peter Green recorded with Jack Bruce, Aynsley Dunbar, and Rod Stewart on the Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation track "Stone Free" in 1967 (would have posted a YouTube link but couldn't find it there...). |

Sad news...
Too much bass on "Stone Free" imo. But I really like his work with Cream. The giants of the 60s will not live forever... But the music will!!! |

Keep on rocking John
I'm hoping John McVie's health is doing well, a base player will live on.
