At that point, Lindsey only had one.

"Love Shines" is overrated. Almost everyone here raves about it, but it sounds pretty bland to my ears. "Heart of Stone," her other new song from The Chain box set, is by far the better of the two.

Oh I agree. I never even think of Love Shines, ugh. I like Heart of Stone a great deal.

It's not a number one record, IMO. But when I first heard it I was thrilled in a way I hadn't been for years and years. She sounded fantastic. The harmonies were tight, the song was tight. The bridge 2/3 of the way through doesn't hold up to the rest of the tune, but I still feel like it's classic Mac. I love it.

But then I also love Heart of Stone for similar reasons.

Clearly that producer knew what to do with her songs. I wish they'd used him on Time.

That's funny. That part is the best part of the song for me.

Oh man. Now, you have burst my fantasy. I heard it in a Rite Aid and I thought it was a special sign, just for me.

I tend to always think that way, but in reality, nothing I ever thought was a "sign" ever turned out good, so I'm only fooling myself.

Oh no. Can't rate Love Shines highly enough. Great song and really nice video to accompany it. It was never going to go top ten with the way the music industry had become by that time but it nevertheless should have sold more than it did- a real shame.

Heart of Stone- sounds like it could have been on 'Time'. A nice enough song like those on that album but for me a bit bland.

I love both tunes on the Chain Box set.

Heart of Stone is a fantastic song.

I heard ALAYF recently at a Ralph's.

I agree. Patrick Leonard did a fantastic job with "Love Shines" & "Heart Of Stone." Both tracks were very classic Fleetwood Mac, without sounding like pale imitations.

I would have loved to have heard more collaborations between Mr. Leonard and the band.
