Question Wachtel Janitorial, Inc.

Did we ever get a decent explanation as to why Waddy Wachtel wore a janitorial key ring and tape measure onstage for the White Wing Dove tour?

Was he the maintenance and facilities supervisor for the hall?

I was in Jr High during this era and it was a big fad for guys to wear keys like this. I also remember the chain wallets that had a chain on the belt and the wallet would go in the back pocket.
He could be wearing it for convenience. Maybe he had too many cars . But in my blue collar area this was an late 70s/early 80s fashion trend for "tough" guys.

I bought one of the chain wallets back in the late 90s, because it was cool to wear them. But I never used it. Because I'm not cool like that. Or am I?

it always seemed like all that crap hanging down would get in the way of playing, or swing and smack into the guitar and scratch it up. Weird.

There was a huge rockabilly resurgence in the late 90's, and sh*t like that came back big. Bigly?

As I previously stated, I NEVER wore the chain wallet. You Madame, need some reading comprehension lessons. Let us know if you need us to start some Go Fund Me for you. Are you from Kintucky?

I remember Janet Jackson used to wear a key on her hoop earrings. Keys were the thing.

But it makes Waddy look like the guy who loads the dolly with eggs and wheels them in to the supermarket through the back!

Maybe he wore it so he would always remember the time when he was the dolly guy.
