In fact it was not the perfekt that we would have wished. But under the conditions that were given, it was the best we could get.

It's clear to me that since the early 80s, she really didn't care about the band. Right or wrong. It was about her solo career.

I remember Chili and SteveMac saying they should have hung it up after Tusk. I understand that in retrospect. Glad we got the 1982 tour, however. Small as it was.

Mirage was really the end of them as a BAND. A gaggle of background singers, extra players, and karaoke tracks are what they became after that. Ladies and gentlemen, the Fleetwood Mac Orchestra!!!!

Brett Tuggle and Neale Heywood in particular helped add an extra dimension to their live performances, but if you go back to their White album and Rumours tours, it becomes immediately apparent that all five official members were able to hold their own alone without any extra help

Exactly. And WHEN, and WHO decided that bands had to sound exactly like the records. 95% of artists play with tracks now. Hear that girl vocal on the chorus, but THERE'S NO GIRL IN THE BAND?

I far, far, FAR preferred it when it was just them. I mean, I get it NOW, because they're 100, but 15 years ago, there was no excuse.

I'm a huge Eagle's fan, and I'll never believe that it's actually all their own vocals on the choruses these days. 75yo's can't still sing like that.....

Well there’s not exactly a shortage of extra musicians on stage with Eagles either and most if not all of them have a microphone in front of them. I’ve long felt they either have some extra helpers singing along or backing tracks. It’s just too perfect at times.

Yeah, but your last line. I don't care if 30 of them are singing. It's too perfect to actually be live mics. I'd wager big on this. It has to be backing tracks.
