It's a close thing with Say Goodbye, Come and Down On Rodeo but I've gone for Murrow.

The lyrics, guitars and that wonderful acoustic beginning with an awesome powerful conclusion. Amazing.

"Come" got my vote....I just love every second of it!

"Red Rover" is a very very close second.

Although it is FAR from my favorite of these tunes, I voted for "Red Rover" because it is the most UNIQUE sounding.

"Murrow"= 2 parts "World Turning" + 1 part "I'm So Afraid"

"Twist Of Fate"="Second Hand News" with new lyrics

"Down On Rodeo", "Say Goodbye" & "Steal Your Heart Away"=sound like "OotC" throwaways

"Miranda"=sounds like a "Law & Order" outtake

"Gift Of Screws" & "Shuffle Riff"=sound like Lindsey was trying to write (if he did actually WRITE these) Rolling Stones songs

and...as those who've read my previous posts..."Come" just makes me puke.

So, by default, "Red Rover" is my vote.

I'll put Red Rover at the very top because I love the sound of it all - it's extremely emotional. Say Goodbye is also very lovely.

It is a difficult choice, but I guess my favourite is Murrow, closely followed by Down On Rodeo (the more acoustic demo version), Red Rover and Come. These are all superb tracks and definitely should feature on "Peacekeeper". I wonder what Stevie's contribution to these songs will be? Even though I adore Lindsey's own harmonies on Down On Rodeo, I think this song in particular is crying out for Stevie's' accompaniment. Fingers crossed.

Hmmm..I'm not sure which way I'm suppose to read that! I'm guessing with the little winking man at the end, ...in a humourous way
However, on a serious note I beg to differ...I like Come alot, it's just not my favourite and I see I'm not alone on this one - at least two people have voted for it!

LOL.
Come doesn't make me puke, though it's not my favorite track. But I like the melody and the energy. I love all the GOS songs, really, and it's a super tough choice between Red Rover and Murrow for the favorite. But I went with Murrow, because melodically, it just has this thing that grabs onto my heart every time I hear it...but If I had to choose which one has the most rockin guitar work, I'd Go Insane before I'd figure that out.

Just curious, Chili, what about Miranda sounds like Law & Order to you?

I can't exactly point out specifcs, but when I play it between "Shadows Of The West" & "Trouble", it fits like a glove.

The title "Miranda" sounds like it should be a John Stewart song. Which makes me think of the song "Johnny Stew" which is on "Law & Order". It's kind of a "flow of consciousness" thing.

I can't vote, but I do like BTLH and My Little Demon, haven't heard anymore songs from GOS.
