Default Dave Mason Hits 70

HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY DAVE MASON (WATCH ‘LIVE AT THE PALACE ’81)
May 10, 2016 by Glide Magazine

http://www.glidemagazine.com/video/h...ive-palace-81/

Happy 70th birthday to Traffic co-founder Dave Mason who was born on 5/10/46. Over the course of his career, Mason has played and recorded with many notable pop and rock musicians, including Paul McCartney, George Harrison, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, David Crosby, Graham Nash, Steve Winwood, Fleetwood Mac, Delaney Bramlett, and Cass Elliot. One of Mason’s best known songs is “Feelin’ Alright”, recorded by Traffic in 1968 and later by many other performers, including Joe Cocker, whose version of the song was a hit in 1969. Watch this live video of Mason performing Live at the Palace from 1981.

Default Non-Fleetwood Mac-related question about Dave Mason

I'm a fan of early Fleetwood Mac and I haven't really followed Dave Mason's career. I've long had a question: who played the lead guitar on Traffic's original releases of "Pearly Queen", "Dear Mr. Fantasy", and "You Can All Join In"? Thanks to anyone who can answer a question I've had for nearly 4 decades!

I don't know about PQ, but Dave only played bass on "Dear Mr. Fantasy" and I assume he did the leads on YCAJI, since it was his song.
